CD with Proceedings of the 5th International Conference on BIOMASS FOR ENERGY (held in September 2009 in Kiev) has been issued. To order CD with Proceedings please fill in the Order form and send it to the address conference@biomass.kiev.ua

Proceedings include unique materials of Ukrainian and foreign authors on the following topics:

1. Biomass resources and its pretreatment.
2. Research and development of bioenergy technologies.
3. Strategy and policy issues.
4. Economic and environmental issues of bioenergy technologies.

The project implies installation of production line with production capacity of 2 tons of wood pellets per hour. An annual production of pellets is expected to be around 11 tons. Western Europe is supposed to be the key market for such production. Meanwhile, as a result of production development, the procurement of such product might also happen on the national market. The relevance of the project is defined by constant demand for pellets worldwide, and especially in Western Europe, as well as by the high price of the given product on the international market.

Project NetbioCof aimed to promote European co-operation between research organisations devoted to biomass co-firing is finished. Information about the project is avialable in section Projects.
