Emission reduction units sold

Joint implementation project developed by SEC “Biomass” sold emission reduction units to foreign buyer!

October 11-th, 2011 successful transaction took place under Joint implementation project at Mariupol municipal solid waste landfill “Tis Eco Ltd.”. State Environmental Investment Agency of Ukraine performed transfer of corresponding quantity of generated emission reduction units from Ukrainian Carbon Units Registry to account of foreign buyer in Registry of Japan.

JI project developed by SEC “Biomass” for “Tis Eco Ltd.” generated and sold 13 617 tonnes of CO2 equivalent.

The project keeps operating and generating emission reduction units.
