Proposition of Voluntary Emission Reductions Units purchasing

SEC "Biomass" suggests to consider the proposition regarding the Voluntary Emission Reductions (VERs) purchasing from the CDM project in the Republic of Moldova (RM). The project has successfully passed through validation and obtained Letter of Approval. The actual date of project start-up is 1^st of August 2010 when the first stage of the equipment has been put into operation. The regular monitoring of GHG emission reductions has been carried out from that date till now. The registration of the project at the CDM Executive Board is expected not earlier than 1^st of December 2011.

We suggest the following conditions of VERs purchasing:

1) The Buyer covers all expenditures connected with the verification process of VERs (the verification for Project Owner is free-of-charge);

2) The Buyer covers all associated monitoring costs as well as supervision by Project Developer;

3) The Buyer pays to the Project Developer success fee determined on the basis of verified emission reductions for the first monitoring period (1^st of August 2010-1^st of August 2011).

The emission reductions for the Project during mentioned period are estimated in amount of 60 000 (sixty thousand) tCO₂-eq. You may also download latest PDD version for detailed description of the CDM project.
