Aim of the project: The Global Environment Facility (GEF) project is aimed to thoroughly investigate conditions and opportunities for the production of 2nd generation biofuels in Mozambique, Argentina and Ukraine. For Ukraine’s conditions the project considers production of bioethanol from wheat straw and synthetic biodiesel from poplar as an energy crop.

Analysis of current state and prospects for bioenergy development in Ukraine

International Conference on Biomass for Energy

Subjects of this annual conference cover a wide range of issues related to energy use of biomass: the biomass resources, research and development of bioenergy technologies, demonstration and commercial projects, legislation, strategy and finance, economic and environmental aspects of bioenergy sector.
