We are greening the future!

We offer you to use the uniqueness of the IX International Conference “Biomass for Energy” – the first conference that has been regularly held since 2002 and covers all the issues of bioenergy development in Ukraine. To read more about sponsorship packages please follow the link.

On 21-22 May in Kiev at the Congress Centre "Olimpiyskiy" takes place the 5-th Ukrainian Biofuel Forum UBF-2013, a key event in the field of biomass, fuel pellets and briquettes, motor biofuels and biogas in Ukraine.

Third position paper "Barriers to the development of bioenergy in Ukraine" was prepared and published by staff of SEC Biomass.
UABio’s Position Paper N3 is a regular document of the planned series of publications on key issues of bioenergy development in Ukraine. In the Paper, the main obstacles hindering the development of bioenergy in the country are identified and analyzed. We have considered the basic mechanisms of stimulation of bioenergy in the EU, analyzed whether the mechanisms are available in Ukraine and suggested some possible ways to overcome the existing barriers.

Second position paper "Analysis of the Law of Ukraine «On amendments to the Law of Ukraine «On Electricity» N5485-VI of 20.11.2012" was prepared and published by staff of SEC Biomass.
Present Position paper #2 by the Bioenergy Association of Ukraine is the next document in a series of planned publications on major issues of bioenergy development in Ukraine. The paper is dedicated to the analysis of the Law of Ukraine “On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine “On Electricity” concerning stimulation of power generation from alternative energy sources” (№ 5485-VI of 20.11.2012). Mentioned law, from our point of view, creates a number of significant barriers to bioenergy and other renewable energy sources (RES) development in our country.
